All ovens vary; gas, electric, induction hobs, Aga's etc. It is best to get to know your oven well. If you are using a fan oven you may need to lower the temperatures a touch. Below is a handy oven temperature conversion guide.
Some of my old recipes are in pounds and ounces. I have converted most of them to grams/kilos but you may find it helpful to print off the conversion table so that you can work in either measurement.
